Past Projects

ND Engineering is committed to using its extensive knowledge of Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Information Theory and Signal Processing to develop real-world applications. Here are a few research projects with highly successful intermediate results. We have received funding from prestigious governmental organizations and private corporations, including the National Science Foundation, NASA and Respironics. We also have numerous issued or pending patents on our technology. Our major projects are as follows:

• Ventilator Control with Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic (Real-time non-invasive patient monitoring and optimization of ventilator settings)
• Fetal ECG Extraction (Seperating Fetal ECG from maternal abdominal electrodes with Information Theoretic Processing)
• Electronic Nose Based Sensing (Using breath to detect the presence of a variety of substances)
